History

The Samoyed’s history goes back a long way, and its origins are still debated. Regardless of the type, nature itself shaped the original dogs, which were used as hunters for human survival. The Samoyed was a faithful companion and hunting companion for its owners, who were mainly trappers. The arctic climate led to a close and warm relationship between dog and human, where they helped each other to keep warm.
