Despite its size, the Norwich terrier is energetic and has a big personality.It is known for being a gentle terrier, but at the same time lightning fast and fearless when it comes to hunting instinct. Norwich terriers are usually obedient and understand what you say, although they can be a bit stubborn when they don’t want to do what you ask.Size and Appearance:
The Norwich terrier is one of the smallest terrier breeds, but it has impressive energy and strength. It has a compact and low-built body with a broad skull and a wedge-shaped and short muzzle. The ears are upright and wide, and they give the breed a characteristic appearance. The body is short and compact with a long and spacious chest, and the back is straight. Norwich terriers have strong legs, short legs and straight forelegs with good angles backwards. The tail is set high and carried straight up.The fur of the Norwich terrier is hard, rough and straight. It lies close to the body with thick underfur, and on the neck it forms a beautiful collar that frames the face. The fur on the head and ears is short and smooth, but there is a little beard and eyebrows. The breed comes in various colors such as all shades of red, wheat, black and tan or gray mottled. The ideal height at the withers is around 25-26 cm.Health:
